No channels show up in the ULx Create Channel VI


The ULx Create Channel VI shows no channels even though InstaCal shows my devices. I've verified that LabVIEW and InstaCal were not run at the same time - what can I do?


Other customers that have had the same problem fixed it by reinstalling the ULx for LabVIEW support. However, it's best to remove the old one first then install it. If you have more than one copy of LabVIEW, the installation program will list them. In this case, target only the version you’re using, making sure the other selections are deactivated. 

If you're still experiencing the problem, search your hard drive (start with the root C:\) for the following files: cb.cfg, cbw32.dll & cbw64.dll. There should be only one copy of each and they will be in the following directories:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Measurement Computing\DAQ\cbw32.dll

C:\Program Files (x86)\Measurement Computing\DAQ\cbw64.dll

C:\ProgramData\Measurement Computing\DAQ\cb.cfg

Note the last one is ProgramData not Program Files...

Delete any duplicates you find elsewhere.
