USB-1608G Series, Background Operation already in Progress error


While Using a USB-1608G Series device and running TracerDAQ, if you get the error message "Background Operation Already In Progress", it means you need to upgrade your firmware to the latest version.

Close TracerDAQ completely before moving on.

You do this by going to https://www.mccdaq.com/, when the page loads, hover your mouse over "Tech Support" on the top blue ribbon and wait for the menu to drop.  Select "Firmware Updates" to open the page.  Click on the ReadMe link and follow the instructions to update the firmware of your USB-1608G Series device.
